Academic opening Aletta
On 17 November the academic opening of Aletta was held, with a seminar on the work of Rosi Braidotti, distinguished professor in the humanities at Utrecht University. The venue was the bright yellow auditorium in our new location, Vijzelstraat 20. Discussants were Lisa Baraitser from London and Iris van der Tuin, also from Utrecht University. The auditorium was packed with a mostly young public, eager to hear these three icons of European women’s studies.
